Xavier School Grade 2's Site

HomeWELCOME!Jun 23, 2009
ASSIGNMENTS POSTED FOR NURSERY UP TO GRADE 2 ARE NOT MANDATORY. THEY ARE MADE AVAILABLE ONLY FOR ENRICHMENT PURPOSES. STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS ARE MERELY ENCOURAGED, NOT REQUIRED, TO COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENTS.

Thank you for visiting the official site for assignments of Xavier School Grade 2 students.

To make possible the continuation of academic work despite the suspension of classes, Xavier School will utilize this site to make information available to parents and students.

While this setup is less than ideal, we have taken this option so that the suspension of classes will not unduly disrupt the delivery of instruction.

We ask for the patient assistance and supervision of parents, most especially parents of our younger students.

Take note that you need not have the site as a contact to be able to view the content. Should you have a question on an assignment, kindly post a reply to the particular entry you have a question on. Please follow this format for posting questions:

Student or Parent’s Full Name (Student’s Grade/Year/Section): Question

Take note that only replies to comments posted by the site administrator should be considered official responses.

Assignments are now complete.

Hello!  Welcome back to classes!

Whether you’re a student or a parent, please help us evaluate Xavier School’s Online Learning this week.  As you know, it was an emergency and experimental response to the unforeseen suspension of classes due to the A(H1N1) virus.

Please answer this quick survey as honestly as possible.  Just click here

You will be asked for a password, just type in our school patron’s full name (without the “St.”) as one word, no caps.   Thank you!

Hi!

The lesson when you come back to school is on living and non-living things.
While at home, look around you, and take note of at least 3 things that you are very sure are living and 3 things that are non-living.  Be ready to say why you think they are so.

It would also be good to take note of some things that you're not really sure are living or non-living.

If you have time and your book, read pp. 8,9 and 10 of your textbook.  Try to answer worksheets 1-4.
